Pinterest – a traveler’s goldmine
Did you know Pinterest is a fabulous resource for all kinds of travel ideas? Just start with a search on travel with kids and your screen will be filled with a wide range of posts. Packing lists, kid friendly tips for long flights and car rides, travel games and most importantly more destinations than you can ever visit yourself.
Boards and pins
If you are as enthusiastic about Pinterest as I am, just start pinning on your own ‘boards’. I – for example – enjoy adding tips and ideas for example on my Canada with children board which I use to prepare for future summer holidays. If I come across a children’s book, travel guide, thing to do with kids in Rome, I just pin it to my board. To me, it is the perfect way to keep all tips and ideas together at one place.
Travel for kids
One of my favorite websites on traveling with children also has a Pinterest account with lots of boards on destinations. Most of them, though, are about destinations in California, United States. If I could choose where I wanted to live, it would definitely be California, so I absolutely enjoy their boards on San Diego Zoo, California gold rush towns and Legoland California. To be honest, there is more than California on their Pinterest, such as Paris, Edinburgh and Bangkok (yes, please!).
Let me know if you know any more great boards on traveling with children. And just go ahead and start your own, it is great fun.
